PLC ST Application Designer We are currently looking for a PLC ST Application Designer to join our Electronics R&D Department at CAREL HQs in Brugine (Padova). In this role, you will initially focus on developing PLC applications in Structured Text (ST) for electronic expansion valve control, including designing control algorithms, testing, and debugging. Over time, your responsibilities will expand to firmware development. ResponsibilitiesDevelop PLC applications in Structured Text (ST) for electronic expansion valve control. Design and implement control algorithms to optimize system performance. Test and debug PLC applications to ensure reliability and compliance with system requirements. Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to integrate PLC applications with embedded systems. Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture decisions. Document software design, implementation, and testing procedures. Transition to firmware development, focusing on embedded software for industrial control systems. Work closely with R&D and product teams to enhance control solutions.QualificationsProficiency in Structured Text (ST) programming for PLC applications. Background in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields. Understanding of control systems, automation, and industrial protocols. Experience with testing, debugging, and optimizing PLC applications. Willingness to expand into firmware development for embedded systems. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
