The Role As a Cloud IT Architect – Azure at Kyndryl, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions for enterprise clients. You will lead technical assessments, design reference architectures, and ensure compliance with data protection and privacy frameworks. This role requires collaboration with development and infrastructure teams, applying agile methods and leveraging CI/CD tools to deliver robust solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and implement cloud solutions on Azure for production workloads with high reliability, scalability, and security Perform technical assessments and develop cloud management architectures and reference models Identify and apply security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO27001, CIS) Collaborate with Dev and Infrastructure teams to manage DevOps and CI/CD processes Create and manage Serverless architectures and Microservices with technologies such as Azure Functions, Logic App, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, and API Management Manage on‑premises and hybrid cloud data centers, including automation with tools such as Terraform Use software lifecycle management tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Confluence Drive solution design sessions, integrating cross‑functional requirements and defining technical roadmaps What We Offer The opportunity to architect cloud solutions for leading enterprise customers across industries Hybrid work model with flexibility depending on project needs Career path toward Distinguished Engineer or Technical Leadership roles Access to advanced training and certification programs on Azure and multi‑cloud platforms Your future at Kyndryl At Kyndryl, senior professionals like you are empowered to shape the future of enterprise technology. Required Technical And Professional Expertise 4+ years of experience designing cloud solutions on Azure Advanced knowledge of Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Identity, Management Tools) Expertise in designing and developing large‑scale systems Experience working across multiple industries Experience managing hybrid environments and using tools such as Terraform Proficiency with CI/CD tools and software lifecycle management (Jira, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Confluence) Strong communication and customer‑facing skills Preferred Technical And Professional Experience Experience leading teams of other technical subject matter experts Proven track record creating solution blueprints and technical roadmaps Certifications in Azure Architecture and Security Experience with enterprise virtualization and automation solutions such as VMware Being You Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
