We were meant to fly.Job DescriptionAs IT Product Owner for Supply Chain, you will lead the management of digital platforms and drive projects that enable the Avio Aero Supply Chain team to meet the unique requirements and regulations of military programs. You will ensure alignment with civil program platforms, leveraging shared blueprints, infrastructures, and vendors to maximize efficiency.Essential ResponsibilitiesOwn the whole Digital application lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, adoption, and maintenanceManage project schedule, risks, costs, and any non-standard events ensuring successful delivery and measurable customer impact through KPIsAct as a bridge between Business functions, IT, external stakeholders maintaining clear communication with end-users and managementContribute to the Digital operations to ensure business continuity, efficiency, and ongoing improvementProactively explore alternate technologies and make informed choices based on experience and impact analysisLead cross-functional teams to deliver digital solutions that meet military program requirements while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulationsEnsure compliance to GE standards and practices, driving IT operational excellencePartner with Business Leaders and Users to identify needs, improve business processes and deliver effective digital solutionsEnsure alignment with the broader GE Aerospace within DT FunctionStrongly interact and collaborate within Digital Technology teams in all SitesDevelop key Business process knowledge to support Supply Chain operationsQualifications/RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplineGood knowledge of Supply Chain processesProblem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teamsTeam-oriented attitude and inclusiveness.Ability to work in ambiguity and deliver solutions with clear assumptionsAbility to exploit new technologies to improve Supply Chain processesDemonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and drive adoption across diverse teamsFluent in Italian and English (spoken and written)Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsPrevious experience in similar roleGood customer-oriented approach with a focus on quality and cost.Competencies in Agile and Scrum methodologiesAbility to use Lean and 6 sigma tools and drive changeGood analytical and problem resolution skillsMotivated to grow, proactive and able to set own action plansWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes hybrid work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
