L3Harris is looking foran Inventory Manager will lead the Inbound and Internal Logistics teams across two manufacturing sites, ensuring the efficient flow, availability, storage, and traceability of materials required to support production activities.
This role is responsible for ensuring that materials and assembly kits are prepared and delivered on time while maintaining compliance with project budgets and operational requirements. Acting as a key link between Logistics, Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Material Management, the successful candidate will drive operational excellence and ensure the timely resolution of supply and delivery issues.
The position also plays a critical role in inventory management, warehouse organization, material traceability, and the continuous improvement of logistics processes and workflows.
What the role will involve The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
Lead and oversee inbound, internal, and inter-plant logistics operations, ensuring efficient management of material and information flows.
Manage the availability, preparation, storage, and distribution of materials to support production schedules.
Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Material Management teams to ensure uninterrupted operations and resolve supply chain challenges.
Develop, implement, and monitor logistics procedures and work instructions, ensuring consistent application across the organization.
Define and optimize material management strategies, including warehousing, inventory control, allocation, picking, packaging, and traceability processes.
Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain effective warehouse organization and material location management.
Verify that materials are received from approved suppliers and comply with packaging and quality specifications.
Coordinate transportation activities between manufacturing sites and suppliers.
Drive warehouse and logistics space optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and operational performance.
Lead continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing logistics processes, productivity, and service levels.
Manage, coach, and develop logistics teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring The role requires the following experience and skills:
Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Proven experience in a similar logistics leadership role within a structured manufacturing or industrial environment.
Demonstrated experience in team leadership, people management, and cross-functional coordination.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management, logistics processes, and inventory control principles.
Good working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
Professional working proficiency in English.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Important to know EU PAY TRANSPARENCY STATEMENT The compensation for the job position at issue ranges from 40.000€ - 55.000€ gross per year. This refers to the base compensation and all amounts and benefits paid directly or indirectly, including in kind, in connection with the employment relationship, including any supplementary or variable components.
