Resumes: with position code: PLMANAGERQ07PLANT MANAGERPosition Mission: Supervise and coordinate all production activities for the Testing and Repair operation group to maintain a quality management system, which will meet or exceed customer satisfaction metrics.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsures detailed written instructions are followed for repairs of electronic components of computers, drives, amps, and chillers.Uses oscilloscopes, multimeters, computers, and specialized test equipment for troubleshooting and isolating electronic failures in equipment.Ensures product is repaired/tested and shipped in a timely manner ensuring the customer metric targets are achieved.Provides input to engineering department to design tools, test beds, test fixtures, etc., to increase productivity and safety of processes.Uses experience and judgement to determine whether units are passing or failing tests.Ensures that the quantity of repaired product meets company´s standards for that part number.Prepares written parts requisitions or locates parts as needed for repairs.Ensures that all ISO quality system procedures training is performed and documented and are utilized by employees.Maintains security of all electronic tools used and materials being repaired.Maintains a clean and safe work area.Adheres to all policies and procedures for health and safety protocol.Follows ISO guidelines for a Quality Management System.Performs other related duties as assigned.RequirementsEducation: High School graduate and 2 years of Technical School in Electronics field.Experience: 5+ years experience in electronic components manufacturing operation, including supervision of technical employees.Skills: Very good communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Ability to follow directions, pay attention to details, good manual dexterity and electronic skills, ability to work with hand tools and electronic test equipment, and ability to operate a personal computer. Experience with printer, power supplies, monitors, drives, amps, and chillers. HVAC certification preferred.Test: Specific Electronic Technician/Engineer Technical ExamAcceptable Test Score: 30 or higher#J-18808-Ljbffr
