Overview Global Category Manager Professional Services at Datalogic. This position will be a key member of the Global Indirect Materials Purchasing Team. You will shape the future of Datalogic’s success by ensuring optimal purchasing decisions in the area of Professional Services and lead strategic cooperation with Datalogic’s functions such as Finance, Sales, Service, Marketing, HR and Legal. Responsibilities Creates and implements sourcing strategy to maximize cost reduction, quality and delivery performance according to business needs. Establishes and implements procedures for purchasing goods and services. Leads the team to ensure commercial negotiation of contracts with suppliers. Manages relationship with both internal customers and suppliers. Ensures accuracy in reporting of savings and cost avoidances. Prepares annual budget with engagement of respective functions and departments. Proposes improvements of processes and tools. Monitors market trends, communicates risks and opportunities. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or other related fields. Languages: Italian, English fluent. Experience: 5 years of experience in Purchasing and at least 3 years in leadership positions.
