If yes, Amazon Private Brands Global Sourcing Team is the right fit for you.For those with an interest in Amazon's Private Brands consumable business, this role provides an exciting opportunity to ensure quality excellence across our Health Care, Personal Care, Baby Care, Household Consumables, Nutrition & Wellness, and Pet Care categories. Your role will involve optimizing our global supplier quality management program and building manufacturing excellence, as well as designing and implementing scalable Quality Assurance solutions in collaboration with Product Development, Sourcing, and other cross-functional teams. You thrive in a highly collaborative, analytical, creative, and fast-paced environment. You have a strong inclination to get things done and deliver scalable results at speed.Key job responsibilitiesEnsure products continuously comply with Amazon's quality, performance, reliability, as well as industry safety and regulatory requirements worldwideDrive manufacturing excellence through data-driven approaches to identify quality trends, predict potential issues, and implement preventive measures across supplier networksManage and coach suppliers to improve quality management system, manufacturing processes and customer satisfactionDesign and operate scalable quality management programs, develop best-in-class processes and systems, and drive continual improvement across different business modelsCommunicate technical, quality, and process requirements effectively to non-technical stakeholders through data visualization and analytical insightsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent4+ years of working experience in quality management, manufacturing, or related fields in consumable productsKnowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g. ISO 9001, GMP), with demonstrated understanding of manufacturing operations across diverse industriesFluent in Chinese and English; excellent written and verbal communication skillsThink creatively and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to travel (national and international) oftenPreferred QualificationsExperience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six SigmaExperience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teamsExperience in managing supplier quality programs in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industryFood safety certifications (HACCP, BRC, SQF) knowledge is a plusMaster's degree in related fields such as Chemistry, Engineering, or similar disciplinesOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
