This opportunity is offered on a permanent basis to support the development of our digitalization vision. The position will demand to travelling.The preferred location for the position is in Trieste (IT), however we are open to receiving applications from other locations.Are you ready to jump onboard?What will you be doing?As aDigital Application Specialist, you drive the digitalization of workshop operations by:Lead the deployment and the maintenance of the digital solutionsSupport the end users during the daily activities and troubleshootingSupport the development by capturing business requirements and translate it to technical specificationsBuild dashboard and analytics for data driven decisionDevelop script support the deployment phase and for master data maintenanceDevelop end user training material and documentation of the applicationTest and validate with the business the new features developedThe below will enable you to shine in this role:Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering or qualified by equivalent experience.Basic knowledge of web applications development (Java, Python, Angular is a plus) and SQL database programming.Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering is a plus.Excellent customer focus; driven to exceed expectations.Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, who engages and collaborates with others to deliver results.Demonstrable ability to work autonomously without being prompted.Aptitude for learning.Keen interest in Digitalization and IT.Fluent in English both verbal and written.Fluency in Italian is seen as an advantage.Why you and usWe at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership and taking responsibility of our work.
