Job title Head of SecondaryJob description A well-established international school in Rome is seeking an experienced and inspiring Head of Secondary to lead its Middle and High School provision.Reporting to the Head of School, the successful candidate will provide strong educational and operational leadership across Secondary, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, student wellbeing and the effective delivery of international curricula.This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for the academic, pastoral and organisational leadership of the Secondary School, including staff development, curriculum implementation and engagement with the wider school community.Key responsibilities include:Providing strategic and day-to-day leadership for Middle and High SchoolEnsuring excellence in teaching, learning and assessmentOverseeing the successful delivery of IGCSE and IB programmesLeading, developing and supporting teaching and leadership teamsPromoting a positive, inclusive and high-performance school cultureEnsuring student safeguarding, wellbeing and pastoral careWorking closely with the Head of School and Senior Leadership Team on whole-school strategyBuilding strong, constructive relationships with parents and the wider communityThe successful candidate will have:Significant senior leadership experience in an international secondary school environmentStrong knowledge and experience of IB and/or IGCSE curriculaA proven track record of leading teams and driving school improvementExcellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skillsA clear commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeingThis role offers the opportunity to join a high-quality international school environment in Rome, with the scope to make a meaningful and lasting impact.The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.#J-18808-Ljbffr
