You are passionate about crafting seamless user experiences and building real products, not just polished mockups. As a Product Designer on our web team, you\u2019ll help shape the Eight Sleep website and drive the design of engaging, intuitive experiences that help users discover and purchase a Pod. You\u2019ll collaborate with Growth, Brand & Marketing, Product, and Engineering to craft high-quality, data-driven designs that balance aesthetics with usability.We value generalists who can move between information architecture, visual design, and interaction patterns, with an eye for both pixel perfection and real-world usability. As a key member of a small but growing design team, you\u2019ll have ownership over the website experience to help users make informed purchase decisions.ResponsibilitiesLead the creation of our e-commerce experience to drive brand positioning and revenue growth, covering information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.Support customer discovery through usability studies and user interviews; use data to assess design success.Iterate using qualitative and quantitative insights to improve web experiences, boosting conversion and retention.Present work to stakeholders and executives; own design documentation and prep files for engineering.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver experiences that drive business growth and user value.Help build, document, and organize UI components of our web design system with the web engineering team.Align with Marketing, Brand, Growth, and Product stakeholders and present design updates to leadership for feedback.Remain the subject matter expert for web design patterns and interactions, researching and applying emerging trends and best practices.Qualifications4+ years of experience in web/e-commerce UX and UI.A portfolio showcasing high-quality UI/UX work with key web-based projects.Experience shipping designs to public users with data demonstrating impact.Ability to consider technical implications of design decisions and balance user value with technical effort.Obsessed with simplicity and high-quality aesthetics in design.Independent thinker who can manage the design process end-to-end in open-ended environments.Passion for user research, including developing and executing user interviews and testing.Ability to iterate quickly and often.Confident in writing clear agendas and presenting design evolutions to executive leadership.Excited about the opportunity to scale a fast-growing brand into an iconic company.Bachelor\u2019s degree in a related design field or equivalent experience.Bonus PointsUnderstanding code or how components and websites are built.Motion and micro-animation design skills.Experience building iconic, high-growth e-commerce sites at startups with measurable impact.Why join Eight Sleep?Innovation in a culture of excellenceJoin a workplace where innovation is a standard.
