Each year, close to 100 million people have a better day because of our medicines.In HSE department we share a “challenge accepted” mindset and are guided by our winning behaviours of simplification, collaboration, and accountability, to achieve our goals.Your roleAs an HSE Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the implementation, monitoring, and continuous development of Health, Safety and Environment practices across the organization.Key responsibilities include:Ensuring compliance with local and global HSE regulations and LEO Pharma policies.Leading risk assessments and proactively identifying safety improvements for employee well-being and operational safety.Monitoring environmental impact and implementing sustainability initiatives to align with LEO Pharma’s green goals.Providing hands-on expertise and advice to departments regarding best practices for health, safety, and environmental performance.Conducting HSE-related training and awareness programs for employees and teams across the organization.Investigating incidents, reporting findings, and preparing actionable recommendations to prevent recurrence.Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to maintain high safety standards and achieve certification goals.Continuously reviewing, updating, and implementing HSE processes to ensure operational excellence.Your work will directly support LEO Pharma’s commitment to fostering a culture of safety and sustainability while contributing to our overall business success.Your QualificationsTo succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Health and Safety, or equivalent relevant field.Proven experience (3+ years) in an HSE-focused role, ideally within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industries.Solid knowledge of HSE legislation, policies, and compliance requirements.Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementing corrective actions.Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.Strong command of English, both written and spoken.LEO Pharma is built on collaboration, innovation, and curiosity.
