With a consolidated turnover of €5,683 million and an EBITDA of €1,080 million, Metlen employs over 7,627 employees worldwide.Your Role Will EncompassFollow up the connection process with grid operatorsSupervise the grid connection process providing technical advice and strategic direction to the Development TeamSupport the preparation of tender processes for the grid interconnection works, including scope definition, review of responses and contractor selectionDevelop effective relationships with potential contractors, suppliers, consultantsQualification of contractors, suppliers, consultantsEvaluation of offers and follow‑up in the tendering processSupport contract preparation to ensure compliance with METKA‑EGN’s requirementsFunctional coordination with internal departments (finance, legal, technical, procurement, etc.) involved in project assessment, due diligence, or implementationIdentify and evaluate emerging technologies and techniques to optimize grid connection solutionsEstimate costs and schedule activities of grid interconnections worksReview Quality Control Plan and Inspection Points Program of EPC/subcontractorsPerform site surveys and audits during constructionManage and supervise engineering and construction of grid connection works and coordinate with Project Managers and Site EngineersParticipate in relevant phases of commissioningWhat You Bring To The RoleBSc/MEng in Civil and/or Electrical Engineering (preferred)Minimum 3 years of project management experience in grid worksFluency in Italian & EnglishKnowledge of Electrical, Mechanical & Civil Engineering (advantage)Experience in construction of HV substations (advantage)Experience in construction of grid works with E-distribuzione (advantage)Knowledge of the Italian Grid Connection Process and TICA (advantage)Experience in construction of renewable plants (solar, wind & batteries) (advantage)Knowledge of AUTOCADWorking experience in ItalyExcellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skillsYour BenefitsAttractive remuneration packageFriendly and professional working environmentContinuous trainingFlexible cooperation model to achieve fast results and increase productivityWe respect your personal data.
