# Job Description:

Within the Manufacturing & Supply Chain area, we are looking for a Logistic Engineer for our Pomezia office.
The selected candidate will be integrated into the Logistic team of the Logistic & Planning U.O., with the aim of standardizing best practices across sites, developing dashboards for monitoring process KPIs, and optimizing flows and costs. The role will act as a point of contact with operational sites and with the logistics service provider.
## The person will be responsible for the following activities:
* Support operational plants throughout the logistics process: reception, warehouse (especially during inventory), shipments
* Support the optimization of the logistics flow through continuous improvement activities that lead to a reduction in service costs
* Standardize operational best practices
* Update BMS documents within the Logistics perimeter
* Monitor and review process KPIs
* Develop BI dashboards for monitoring process indicators
* Improve the process of supplying production lines
## Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Management or Logistics) or a related field
## Seniority:
Junior (1-3 years of experience) - Expert (3-5 years of experience).
## Technical skills and knowledge:
* Knowledge of industrial logistics understood as the set of material flows within a production plant, through warehouses, testing departments, and production departments, up to the final delivery of the finished product and its shipment to the customer
* Knowledge of basic principles of Supply Chain Management, purchase orders, delivery plans, framework agreements, scheduling, supply lead times, contractual dates and rescheduling, incoterms, and transport and delivery management
* Knowledge of digital collaboration tools
* Familiarity with the management of logistics process data and related KPIs for the purpose of monitoring process performance and implementing appropriate improvement actions
* Ability to translate operational needs into service requirements
* Knowledge of SAP: WM, MM, PP modules
## Behavioral skills:
* Time and priority management
* Collaboration and ability to interface with stakeholders from different backgrounds
* Flexibility in dealing with topics outside one's domain of expertise
* Proactivity
* Problem Solving
* Organized and systematic approach to synthesis (reporting) through the ability to process and interpret a large number of data
## Language skills:
* Excellent level of English
## Computer skills:
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
* Knowledge of SAP applications
* Knowledge of Power BI
## Other:
* Availability for short business trips, especially national ones
* Previous work experience in the sector
