Senior Welding Engineer Location: Monfalcone, Italy Senior Welding Engineer – responsible for guaranteeing the quality and compliance of welds in full accordance with applicable codes, design requirements and contractual specifications. ResponsibilitiesAdopt an ethical approach to work aligned with the Safety Culture philosophy of the company. Organize and coordinate welding test activities for procedures and mock‑ups. Apply deep knowledge of applicable codes and welding processes, demonstrating competence to manage and organize activities across multiple projects. Develop prototypes aimed at the design and validation of new welding solutions. Use fundamentals of industrial process engineering applied to welding procedures. Implement robotics into welding activities. Supervise mechanical laboratory tests necessary to validate qualifications and procedures. Possess knowledge of ASME, EN, RCC‑ codes and main ASTM and EN standards regulating mechanical tests, laboratory tests and welding processes. Issue welding procedures and qualifications of welders and technical documentation (WBP – WPS / PQR) in accordance with applicable codes and client‑imposed standards. Select input materials dedicated to each job based on codes, standards and contractual specifications, demonstrating detailed knowledge of welding materials in accordance with joint design and fabrication solutions.Qualifications5+ years of experience in a similar role. Degree in Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Excellent proficiency in English.
