Quality Control Engineer

Quality Control Engineer will report to the Quality Control Manager .Previous experience in QC Engineering roles withing Enginering/Manufacturing site or similar industry, or experience in QC activity in a similar field, would be preferred.We count on you for:Support Energy Dome in its growth and challenges, bringing fresh nourishments to our ideas and a courageous critical spirit.Be remarkable in your role, bringing knowledge, mentoring younger people and becoming a reliable reference point for the whole company.You can count on us for:Be part of and contribute to a once-in-a-lifetime journey within an innovative company with a groundbreaking technology that will change the world.Have fun within a dynamic, international and young team and enjoy amazing company perks such as carbon-free bonuses, welfare, sustainable team buildings, professional trainings and much moreRole and Responsibilities:Creation, review and/or approval of Project Inspection and Test Plans, based on contractual requirement and internal standardsReview and approval of preliminary vendor’s procedures like welding book, NDE procedure, PWHT procedure, Hardness Test procedure, etc…Review and approval of Inspection and Test Records including Final Manufacturing Record books (MRB), issuing Inspection Release Note at timeCoordinate external inspectors for assignment on all global scaleManage internal and external NCR aspects including creation, discussion and closureCarry out inspection activities directly (when needed) during the manufacturing progress as well as at final stage, by performing VDI and/or attending other inspections tasks like NDE, hydrostatic test, etc…Provide QC support to all internal/external customers, by managing correspondence and keeping a good and productive relationshipEnsure that Company QC Targets are reachedAct proactively by anticipating potential issue, with the aim to be aligned with delivery datePromote the Company culture as well as QHSE policyPromote a health, safe and environmentally responsible working environmentRequired Qualifications and Knowledge:Master's degree is a plus;Experience in welding, fabrication and standard NDE techniques.Knowledge of major Codes for pressure Vessel (ASME/EN), Pressure Piping (ASME/EN), Structural Codes (ASCI/EN) and all major Directive/Code/Norms like PED Directive, Machinery Directive, EN1090+ISO3834, AWS D1.1, etc…CSWIP 3.1, NDE Level II in Radiographic interpretation (desirable)European welding engineers or technologist (desirable)Painting certification NACE or FROSIO (Desirable)Languages: Italian + professional English are mandatoryWillingness to travel in Italy and abroad is mandatoryA genuine interest in clean technologies and energy transitionPersonal skills:Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts effectively and decisivelyExcellent Team player, proactive and with problem solving aptitudeAutonomous with high prioritization approachAnalytical and conceptual thinking, we love people who love details but don't miss the big picture.Curiosity, desire to see what is beyond things, willingness to challenge and learn.Assertiveness, courage and speed.
