Key responsibilities
Design and build internal platform tools and frameworks that standardise and automate cloud operations.
Build and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform at an advanced level.
Architect AWS-native solutions and integrate AWS services effectively.
Support governance, compliance and security standards across the platform.
Essential skills and experience
Proven platform engineering experience, including building internal tools and frameworks.
Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar language used for automation and tooling.
Advanced Terraform experience that goes beyond basic resource provisioning.
Production experience with Amazon EKS, including building and operating Kubernetes clusters.
Deep knowledge of AWS-native architecture and integration across AWS services.
Desirable skills and experience
Enterprise-scale experience across multiple business units and complex organisations.
Governance and compliance experience.
Change management experience in large, distributed organisations.
