IT & Security Coordinator We are seeking an experienced IT & Security Coordinator to ensure robust information security and deliver reliable IT support across our organization. This role combines security operations, infrastructure management, and user support in a dynamic multinational environment. What You’ll Do Security Operations Enforce HQ security policies and perform regular compliance checks Manage access control, CCTV systems, and network security Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement corrective measures Oversee data privacy compliance and risk management initiatives Deliver security training and perform periodic audits IT Support & Administration Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues Manage software updates, patches, and system upgrades Administer helpdesk operations and train users on IT best practices Infrastructure & Networking Maintain and secure LAN/WAN, servers, and communication systems Install, configure, and optimize IT infrastructure Automate routine tasks and ensure business continuity during outages Additional Activities Support legacy systems, VPN, and antivirus solutions Assist with month-end data transmission and yearly compliance tasks Requirements Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Experience: 5+ years in IT security and infrastructure roles, preferably in a multinational environment Languages: Fluent Italian and English Network and system administration (LAN/WAN, servers, storage) Security frameworks and compliance (GDPR, privacy rules) Knowledge of SQL and scripting for automation Familiarity with CCTV, access control, and VPN solutions Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset Excellent communication and stakeholder management Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritize effectively Proactive approach to risk mitigation and continuous improvement Preferred Skills Knowledge of Oracle Database ERP Systems (SAP in particular) Knowledge of company processes and flows Web development for internal and local implementation Diversity & Engagement for All: At LG Electronics, we value and respect the unique qualities and diversity of our employees.
