We are looking for a motivated and skilled Satcom Software Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, and has at least 2–3 years of professional experience in full-stack software development. The candidate will contribute to the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software solutions for satellite communication systems, working in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications for SATCOM systems.
- Develop modern front-end applications
- Implement scalable and high-performance back-end services.
- Design and manage databases.
- Collaborate with system engineers to integrate software with networking and communication infrastructures.
- Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
- Manage source code, CI/CD pipelines, and version control using GitLab.
- Produce and maintain software documentation, preferably following ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization) standards.
- Participate in software testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong knowledge of:
- React.js
- Vue.js
- FastAPI
- Good understanding of computer networking principles and cyber security best practices.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies:
- Docker
- Experience using GitLab, including source code management and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience in preparing and maintaining software documentation; familiarity with ECSS standards is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Linux-based development environments.
- Familiarity with Agile software development.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and automated deployment pipelines.
