We are looking for a motivated and skilled Satcom Software Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, and has at least 2–3 years of professional experience in full-stack software development. The candidate will contribute to the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software solutions for satellite communication systems, working in a multidisciplinary and international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications for SATCOM systems.
  • Develop modern front-end applications
  • Implement scalable and high-performance back-end services.
  • Design and manage databases.
  • Collaborate with system engineers to integrate software with networking and communication infrastructures.
  • Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
  • Manage source code, CI/CD pipelines, and version control using GitLab.
  • Produce and maintain software documentation, preferably following ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization) standards.
  • Participate in software testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in full-stack software development.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • React.js
  • Vue.js
  • FastAPI
  • Good understanding of computer networking principles and cyber security best practices.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies:
  • Docker
  • Experience using GitLab, including source code management and CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining software documentation; familiarity with ECSS standards is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Linux-based development environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and automated deployment pipelines.
