The Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader ensures plant availability and continuity of production operations by leading the mechanical maintenance team and fostering the development of skills and resources, while ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities:

Disciplinary and functional leadership of the mechanical maintenance team Planning, execution, and monitoring of maintenance activities (preventive, corrective, and improvement) on production equipment Ensuring proper functioning, efficiency, and availability of machinery, including troubleshooting and repair activities Sharing, monitoring, and achieving team and departmental targets (e.g., budget, plant availability, performance indicators) Continuous development of team performance, skills, and productivity (performance reviews, training, coaching) Execution and supervision of inspections, maintenance activities, and documentation of repair interventions Ensuring compliance with legal and internal occupational health and safety regulations, including conducting employee briefings and safety training Participation in the planning and coordination of annual shutdowns and maintenance schedules Management and optimization of procurement processes for materials and external services Coordination and supervision of external suppliers and contractors Conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective and continuous improvement actions Involvement in plant modifications, upgrades, and technical projects Organization of team shifts and vacation planning Ensuring workplace organization, cleanliness, and adherence to quality standards Acting as the main point of contact for the organization and management of mechanical maintenance materials Involvement in and responsibility for managing spare parts procurement for newly installed machinery

Requirements:

Technical diploma and/or degree in Engineering 5–10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within process industries Strong leadership skills and experience in people management Knowledge of Lean Management principles Excellent command of the Italian language Good command of the English language Availability for on-call duty

What we offer:

Annual Gross Remuneration: €50.000 - €60.000
