ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain ETL pipelines in a Big Data environment, ensuring the continuity of the data infrastructure.Develop and update reports to analyze performance metrics of the Motor LoBImplement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of data used across the unitEducation / Experience / Key SkillsBachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Physics or similarExperience (e.g. 1-2 years) in Data Analytics / Reporting or Data Engineer / Scientist rolesProven experience with SQL, Python and its libraries for Big Data processing, including PySpark, Pandas and NumPyExperience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or similar)Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics would be a plusKnowledge of orchestration tools (Apache Airflow or similar) would be a plusGood knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel and Power PointProactive and innovative attitude in constantly improving tools and approaches to be market leadingGreat curiosity in order to create an overall visionGood knowledge of English and Italian language (written and spoken)Allianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
