About the Role This profile is responsible for: Defining the design of electronic hardware for upgrade kits during the quotation phase; Defining the update of the PLC and HMI software during the quotation phase; Defining electrical diagram and components selections with particular focus on motion control and safety; Analysing technical quotation of third part suppliers to include in the quotation. Defining hardware or software solutions with the target to understand customer’s need; In case of need, the solution develop during quotation will also be realized in execution phase. What you need to be successful At least 5 years of experience in automatic machinery for primary or secondary packaging; Degree in Automation or Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering; Quotation skills and methods, also identifying risks and mitigation plan; Knowledge of the main PLC programming environments (Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens); Knowledge of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, including: Essential Health and Safety Requirements (EHSR) EC Declaration of Conformity Knowledge of functional safety standards; Reading and editing electrical diagrams (EPLAN P5-P8); Fluent English language at a professional level, written and oral; Availability to travel; Flexibility in managing priorities; Effective communication skills to easily build trust towards colleagues.
