E‑Dea Transport Technology, IT leader in the ferry industry, is looking for an Oracle Cloud System Engineer to join its growing team.Job description The successful candidate will become part of the Infrastructure & Managed Service Unit and will be responsible for the infrastructure software that powers E‑Dea products.Location & working hours 100 % remoteFull‑time contract with an on‑call rotation for after‑hours incidentsMission You will manage the entire OCI stack for Production, Test and Disaster Recovery, working closely with Application Support to guarantee performance, security and availability end‑to‑end.Key responsibilitiesSet up Test and Production environments in multiple OCI regionsDesign and configure High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architecturesDesign, implement and harden network & security (VCN, subnets, load balancers, WAF, IAM)Manage performance of E‑Dea products in cloud (OCI, AWS) and on‑premiseProvide DBA services for Oracle DB (Autonomous DB and on‑prem) and MySQL: backup, recovery, patching, tuning, Data Guard / replication, capacity planningAdminister and optimise Oracle WebLogic (OCI & on‑prem) plus other web / app servers, Jasper and DevOps pipelinesBenchmark, tune and document cloud and on‑prem architectures, including capacity planningImplement continuous monitoring with RDBMS & APM tools (like New Relic, Datadog)Define KPIs, analyse trends and produce technical reports (Confluence / Jira)Handle performance‑related incident tickets together with the Support & Maintenance teamAutomate provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, OCI Resource Manager and Bash / Python scriptsKeep the technology stack current by scouting and evaluating new versions and middlewareMust‑have requirementsStrong experience configuring and operating Oracle Cloud InfrastructureSignificant experience administering Oracle WebLogic and Tomcat Application ServersExpert of Kubernetes architecture configuration and maintenanceSolid DBA experience with Oracle Database (backup, recovery, tuning, patching)Solid experience in configuring Identity & Access Management Tools (like Keycloak)Proven ability to monitor application and database performanceHands‑on expertise in security configuration and vulnerability checksStrong knowledge of RDBMS monitoring & APM tools (Oracle OCM, New Relic, DataDog or similar)Experience setting up and managing multi‑cloud environments (OCI, AWS, Azure)Deep understanding of networking and server architectures; capacity‑planning skillsAdvanced Unix / Linux skills plus Bash or Python scriptingGood written and spoken English (+C1)Nice to haveCertifications : OCI Architect / Professional, Autonomous DB Specialist, AWS / Azure equivalentsExperience with OCI Kubernetes Engine (OKE), Docker, RabbitMQ, JasperServer, KeycloakKnowledge of security standards (CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001) and DevSecOps practicesFamiliarity with CI / CD tools (OCI DevOps, Jenkins)Soft skills"Automation‑first" mindset and service orientation calm, structured problem‑solving under pressureStrong documentation and knowledge‑sharing habitsAbility to work effectively in distributed, multicultural teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
