We compare with the best version of ourselvesWhat is the role?As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and overseeing the development of space systems, including satellites, ground segments, and user devices. Your role involves translating user and stakeholder requirements into detailed system and subsystem specifications, and guiding the engineering teams throughout the system's lifecycle. You will develop system architectures, manage system validation, and ensure optimal performance from both space and ground components.Some of your daily tasks will also include:Coordinating the design and development of space systems by breaking down high-level requirements into detailed technical specificationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand payload requirements and translate them into system specificationsCollaborating with software and hardware engineers to align components and optimize overall system performanceEngaging with stakeholders to gather and refine user requirements, ensuring their needs are met from concept to deploymentConducting end-to-end validation and performance modeling to ensure seamless integration and operation of the systemsWriting and managing technical requirements to guide the project towards successful execution.Implement test procedures to verify payload performance and reliabilityUtilize various programming languages and tools to develop software components and systemsWork closely with hardware engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated satellite solutions.Design and develop software solutions for satellite payloads, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
