Working with us means working with the latest technologies and groundbreaking, sustainable innovations.Project Leader EngineeringEurochiller Srl, part of the Atlas Copco Group, is a Leading European designer and manufacturer of customized and standard chillers and thermoregulation units, with a specific focus on plastic applications with a Full-in house design, assembly and testing activities. The company has two fully-certified production sites located in North of Italy and Slovakia.Job DescriptionIn this role you are a team member acting as project manager for projects from concept to production. As project manager you are the end responsible of the projects and also responsible for the technical part of the projects. You report the overview and status of the projects to the R&D Manager, to whom you’ll report to.Project Management ResponsibilitiesBased on the functional needs you create the project specification, define the tasks for the different project team members and create a total plan for the project and coordinate the activities.Safeguard the cost of the product, the budget and the timing as agreed in the project follow-up meetings with the management.Ensure that the necessary product quality is achieved, by safeguarding the necessary steps within the project according to the concept to product.Support and motivate the different team members during the entire product development process in a non-hierarchical team.Technical Execution ResponsibilitiesEnsure technical cohesion during the design phase and maintain good contacts with other departments for design optimization.Create, coordinate and analyse the test program together with the test engineers when available.Analyse component concepts and functional modules.Maintain the technical file, ensuring it is consistent and contains the latest information.Take initiative and cooperate on continuous improvement of new product development and the engineering process in general, delivering on time and finalising the entire project effectively.Experience RequirementsExperience in a design and development environment.Experience in project management and how to steer and let people work together.Experience with the chiller technology.KnowledgeFluent in English.Good command of Italian.A good general technical knowledge.Affinity with Thermodynamics, mechanical design and calculations/simulations.Knowledge of Matlab & Excel or other calculation tools.Good people skills.Educational RequirementsUniversity degree in Engineering, preferably Master Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering, or equal through experience.Personality RequirementsCan-do mentality.Strong drive and self-motivated.Autonomous.Communicative and result oriented.Analytical mindset and an eye for accuracy.Decision maker in difficult circumstances, keeping an eye on the risks and responsibilities.Team player.Other RequirementsWe are looking for a candidate residing near our offices (Castello D’Agogna – PV) or willing to relocate.Diverse by nature and inclusive by choiceBright ideas come from all of us.
