Enex Technologies – Purchasing ManagerRoleThe Purchasing Manager manages the procurement process for direct and indirect materials and services for the Company, ensuring material availability in line with production plans and company guidelines. The role focuses on cost and cash optimization, meeting delivery deadlines and nurturing supplier relationships. The candidate will report to the Company’s Purchasing Director.ResponsibilitiesRationalize current Supply Base and investigate and suggest new supply partnersManage relationships with suppliersAchieve Cost reduction targets and Inventory turns targetsEnsure suppliers’ prices, LTs and other conditions are correctly inserted and maintained in the ERP systemOversee Purchase Orders and follow up with approval processManage open POs reports to suppliers to support materials expediting and inventory controlEnsure material availability with correct timingCollaborate with internal stakeholders (eg. Technical dept.) on the Purchasing of specific items and engage with vendors to resolve complaintsManage and mitigate supplier price increase requestMonitor inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levelsMonitor and report Supplier SOTDEngage with suppliers to solve Quality and delivery issuesContribute to new product development, manage components Phase IN – Phase OutLead and develop the Buyers TeamAccountability and MetricsPurchasing Cost ReductionMaterial availability on time to respect the Company production planInventory Value and Inventory TurnsLateral relationshipsLocal sites Planning and Operations: to support material flow and movementFinance and Accounting: to ensure Pos and invoices matching, purchasing cost and inventory controlCategory Managers and Purchasing Director: to support the category strategies and to elevate recurring supplier issuesWork Experience & Education RequirementsDegree in technical or economical field or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, ideally in a industrial machines job manufacturing contextKnowledge, Skills and Abilities requiredStrong negotiation and communication skillsFluent in English written and spoken.
