Interact with local and global external partners including universities, start-ups, and vendors to integrate diverse perspectives and stakeholder inputsBe able to clearly communicate concepts to software developers, implementation engineering teams and customers. Produce clear design docs and developer-facing examples/ notebooks that enable reuse.Your backgroundMaster Electrical/Power Systems Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Master’s degree with equivalent industry experienceProven expertise in modelling and steady-state analyses of power grids demonstrated hands-on expertise applying these methods in software development.Knowledge in mathematical optimization applied to power systems, and modern numerical solvers is strongly desired (e.g., MIP/NLP, stochastic; tools such as Gurobi, CPLEX, Ipopt). Experience with machine learning and/or artificial intelligence technologies is a plusProficiency in C#, C++, Rust or a similar high-level programming language is required; Python and/or Matlab for analytics and fast prototyping are a plus.Experience building state-of-the-art software engineering techniques (version control, code reviews, testing, CI/CD) and integrating solution algorithms into applications are beneficial (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
