airsight ( is an experienced and well-established company providing airports, air navigation service providers as well as civil aviation authorities and organizations with consulting and engineering services, software and training.To support the company’s sustainable growth, airsight is looking for a dynamic and motivatedEngineer / Consultant (m/f/x) Aviation – Aerodrome Safety & Operations –to join our Italian office team in Italy.Your responsibilities:As a member of airsight Italy branch, you are working on national and international consulting projects, incl. tasks such as:Conduction of safety assessments related to non-compliances, major changes and arising safety concerns at international airportsDevelopment of airport procedures such as low visibility procedures, winter operations procedures, airside working proceduresEstablishment and Improvement of Safety Management Systems at airportsAirport planning & assessing construction plannings from a safety perspectiveAuditing of airport proceduresParticipation in the development of airsights’ internal project toolsPreparation of study reports and expert opinionsPresentation of project resultsProvision of advice to clientsSupport of airsight training with the development of training material; potentially acting as a trainerAdditional aviation/aerodrome related competences such as PPL/FCL, Flight procedure design, airport planning and design will be considered as a plusWe offer:Versatile and interesting tasks with practical relevanceInternational environment in the aviation sectorPersonal responsibilities in a dynamic passionate and committed team with regular team eventsOpen communicationPleasant working atmosphere and respectful work life balanceTraining and development opportunitiesFull-time permanent position in ItalyFlexibility and the possibility to work from homeCompetitive remuneration packagePersonal development and trainingHands on experience in aviation consulting projects locally and internationallyYour profile:University degree in aeronautical engineering, or equivalentMinimum 2 years professional experience in the aviation sectorKnowledge in the field of ICAO, EASA and other regulationsKnowledge in aerodrome safety and risk managementKnowledge of Compliance management principles and/or auditing is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-organization, intrinsic motivation, and commitmentExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsAbility to work together within a passionate, dynamic flexible and committed teamKnowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suites (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel); familiarity with CAD software (e.g. MicroStation) preferred; familiarity with office 365 products (list, power automate, power app, power BI) is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication in Italian and English is mandatory, knowledge of German is preferable but not mandatory, knowledge of other languages is a plusWillingness to travelExcellent sense of customer-oriented servicesAdditional InformationPlace of employment: Italy, Rome - Fiumicino preferredStart date: Q1 2026Employment level: full-timeHow to apply:If you are interested in this challenging job and want to become part of our team, we look forward to receiving your complete application documents in PDF format with the indication of your gross annual salary expectations and your current availability to If you have questions about your application, please also contact us via email.
