Senior SAP SCM Consultant – IBM Join IBM Consulting to develop your career in the global consulting environment. You will work with innovators across industries to improve the hybrid cloud and AI journey of leading companies.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage multiple SAP programs and projects from conception to completion, coordinating cross‑functional teams and aligning with business strategy.Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets; ensure adherence throughout the lifecycle.Manage project risks, issues and changes effectively using established risk‑management tools and techniques.Facilitate regular project status meetings with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.Ensure quality control by overseeing testing phases, managing defects, and confirming all deliverables meet required standards.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including senior management, IT departments and external vendors.Collaborate with SAP consultants and business process owners to define and implement SAP solutions that meet business needs.Monitor project performance, measuring success against defined metrics and KPIs.Mentor and guide less experienced project managers and team members.Continuously improve project management methodologies and processes within the organization.QualificationsAdvanced degree in Project Management or a related discipline.Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management, with at least 5 years in an SAP environment.Proven experience managing large‑scale SAP implementations or transformations.Strong understanding of SAP solution modules, particularly PP, APO, IBP.Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem‑solving skills and strategic thinking ability.Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira or similar.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams towards project goals.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree.Certification as a PMP (Project Management Professional).Job DetailsSeniority Level: Mid‑Senior levelEmployment Type: Full‑timeJob Function: Management and ManufacturingIndustries: IT Services and IT ConsultingLocation: Milan, Lombardy, Italy#J-18808-Ljbffr
