This position is instrumental in supporting both the site’s key stakeholders and the Finance Director in achieving the company’s financial objectives and long‑term strategic goals.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the accounting team on all relevant accounting and tax topics.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and tax‑relevant deadlines.Manage external consultants on VAT and tax declaration matters.Take ownership of regular liquidations and payments with regard to the local legal entity.Prepare the tax pack and submit it.Cash tax forecasting.Intrastat reporting.Verify VAT models and reconcile VAT registers.Reconcile the balance sheet.Provide local banking support.Manage relations with national authorities.Qualifications and SkillsMinimum 10 years of experience in similar corporate/accounting/tax roles. ACCA/CIMA qualified preferred.University degree in business, finance, or engineering.Prior supply‑chain experience is beneficial.Strong knowledge of cost accounting in an SAP environment and consolidation.Strong technical knowledge and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
