SER Mechanical Engineering Specialist

Your ResponsibilitiesDesign mechanical drawings and implement upgrades for tissue machinery. Support the Inside Sales team by preparing accurate technical quotations. Develop and execute mechanical upgrade projects ensuring feasibility and alignment with customer requirements. Prepare detailed reports on completed upgrades and propose new standard improvements. Assess customer requests for technical feasibility and provide recommendations.QualificationsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or similar studies. 3-5 years of mechanical design experience in an automation company, with a strong technical background in industrial automation. Solid knowledge of mechanical design tools including CAD 2D and CAD 3D (NX SolidWorks), PLM (Teamcenter), SolidWorks PDM. Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written). Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and knowledge of SAP. Availability and willingness to travel.To succeed in this role You will need strong mechanical engineering expertise combined with excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Success requires effective time management, prioritization, and the capability to handle urgent situations while maintaining focus on goals and results.
