Director of Rooms Salary: €Negotiable Location: Rome, Italy This luxury 5-star property is looking for a Director of rooms.TheDirector of Roomsis a strategic and operational leader responsible for managing theFront Office, Housekeeping, and Reservationsteams.With a direct team of 4 and broader oversight of room division operations, this role plays a central part in delivering an exceptional guest journey from arrival to departure, with a consistent focus on wellness, sustainability, and emotional hospitality. This position is part of theExecutive Committeeand reports jointly to theGeneral Manager and Director of Operations . Key Responsibilities Oversee the performance and daily operations of theFront Office ,Housekeeping , andReservationsdepartments Ensure guest experiences reflect the brand's pillars ofwell-being ,sustainability , andpersonalized service Foster a culture of care, mindfulness, and excellence within the Rooms team Lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives to build a highly motivated and service-driven team Implement operational strategies that support energy conservation, reduced waste, and wellness-oriented service delivery Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction metrics, implementing improvements as needed Maintain close collaboration with all departments, especially Spa, F&B, and Engineering, to ensure seamless guest service Oversee departmental budgets, productivity, and staffing levels with a focus on efficiency and quality Represent the Rooms Division in strategic discussions at the Executive Committee level Candidate Profile 3–5 yearsof experience in a leadership position within awell-structured, international hotel group , preferably inItaly Strong operational knowledge of luxury hotelRooms Divisionfunctions Experience leading both Front Office and Housekeeping teams in a 5-star environment Fluent in Italian and English ; additional languages are highly desirable Passionate aboutwellness, sustainability , and innovative guest service Empathetic leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a high-expectation, detail-focused, and collaborative environment Director of Rooms Salary: €Negotiable Location: Rome, Italy If you would like to have more information about the role, please apply or send your cv to Get social…… Tweet us @COREcruitment#J-18808-Ljbffr
