Up to 10% business travel with occasional project site visits can be expected.Role SummaryWe are looking for our new colleague in Business Development Manager role to grow Ackcio presence in Europe. Your primary responsibility will be new business development by identifying, developing, and acquiring new customer accounts. We expect that you bring industry experience in geotechnical and SHM from a technical sales and management role. You will independently generate new leads, build a pipeline, lead client discussions, propose monitoring solutions, and close new deals. Support from Ackcio engineering and product teams will be available when deeper technical input is required.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and qualify new customers in geotechnical and SHM markets.Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue targets.Conduct technical discovery to understand client monitoring needs.Propose appropriate monitoring solutions using Ackcio products.Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate deals.Close new accounts and manage early stage customer relationships.Build and maintain market intelligence on competitors and industry trends.Collaborate with HQ teams on solution design and technical support when required.RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.Minimum five years experience in technical sales or project based business within geotechnical, civil, or structural monitoring sectors.Hands on experience with geotechnical instrumentation or sensor based monitoring systems.Proven ability to generate and close new accounts independently.Strong technical communication and solution selling skills.Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision.Fluent in English and one other major European language (German, French, Italian, or Spanish).What We OfferOpportunity to grow in your role as you build Ackcio's market presence in your territory.Full autonomy to manage your work in a small international teamDirect impact role with clear ownership of territory.Support from global engineering and product teams.Competitive base salary with performance based commission.Applicants without experience selling technical products or services into civil, geotechnical, or SHM engineering projects will not be considered.
