The prime responsibility of the role is to recruit, train, develop and retain a team of sales people and sales managers who are able to attain the sales budgets for the office / branch. This role requires the ability to act as a sales manager, create business opportunities, demonstrate active leadership and motivation skills whilst also fulfilling an operational role in ensuring that a high level of service is provided to our customers. The role requires a high level of interaction with both internal and external customers to ensure effective business relationships are achieved and maintained. This involves the staff management of personnel including disciplinary or corrective actions as required as well as interaction with suppliers to achieve an effective appreciation of business opportunities and practices. The role has a high level of demand, as the branch manager is measured to an extent on the results of the branch. To lead & manage a team of sales personnel to achieve monthly and annual sales budgets. •Manage branch metrics and activity to achieve annual corporate objectives. •Monitor and measure sales activities within the group and take action to implement change if sales activities are not succeeding. •Work with the Country Manager / Regional Sales Director on the setting of annual sales budgets. •Actively participate in the recruitment of new hires, undertaking the key / final stage of the interview process to check the candidate can fulfill the competencies of the job role for which they are applying, and that they are the correct personality fit with the company culture and the branch team. •Undertake annual and bi-annual appraisals for all direct reports in line with corporate procedure. •Undertake regular branch communication meetings with all staff (as directed by line management) reviewing both corporate and local objectives and sharing branch performance against the set metrics. •Support training of the Future Sales Executives, Key
