Proactively seek new business opportunities and generate sales leads, building and maintaining relationships with key clients. Actively market and sell all private event spaces & public spaces to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Work on collateral & packages to competitively increase event revenues across social and corporate events. Entertain clients & conduct site inspections in the Hotel where required Benchmark pricing to ensure offerings are competitive within the market. Expand presence within the local and italian market of the Hotel, seeking out new opportunities with corporate clients and events agencies, and converting new event business opportunities. Work closely with the proactive sales team & reactive Groups & Events team, converting new leads into accounts & creating proposals for larger scale events to fit client requirements. Visting client offices in Rome and potentially in Italy, presenting the Hotel to large groups of clients Track sales, analyzing performance and reporting on key metrics to identify growth opportunities.. What we’re looking for… Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales role in Rome or Italy. Experience in working with the Italian market Fluency in English, any other languages are a bonus but not essential. You’re dynamic and great at growing and nurturing long lasting relationships. You’re a proactive and experienced individual with great enthusiasm and self-motivation. You’re able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-growth environment that relies in many ways on being flexible and moving fast. You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way. Additional InformationThe Hoxton Rome is part of a series of open-house hotels, each set in a neighbourhood we love. Since we opened our first hotel in Shoreditch, we’ve never thought of offering just “a bed for the night”.
