Job Description Datalogic is offering a AME HW Test Engineer role, reporting to the AME Manager and collaborating with the Operations Engineering area. Role Mission The AME HW Test Engineer supports the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, a department that links R&D and Production. Key Responsibilities Participate in the New Products design team with R&D and Quality, ensuring design for manufacturability and testability. Design testing tools and automated machines for the manufacturing plants. Define assembling and testing procedures for production, estimate manufacturing cost, set time standards, and make the most cost‑effective choices for tooling and processes. Support new product introduction in the plants. Perform troubleshooting activities and production support. Requirements Education: Electronic Engineering or another technical postgraduate degree. Languages: Italian and fluent English. Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in tooling design. Other Information & Specific Skills Analogic and digital hardware knowledge. Software knowledge. Electronic system knowledge. Attention to detail. Flexibility, creativity, and proactivity. Project management skills. Capacity to work in a dynamic team and in a complex environment. Problem‑solving capabilities. Open mindedness.
