Job Summary: We are seeking a results-oriented professional to join our team at the GE Vernova production site in Sesto San Giovanni. In this pivotal role, you will act as a catalyst for operational excellence and digital transformation, bridging the gap between advanced technological innovation and shop-floor performance. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and spearhead initiatives that integrate Lean methodologies with cutting‑edge technologies, driving improvements in cycle times, production data management, and operational accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Project Management: Provide operational leadership to the AI Project Manager and AI Architect, ensuring full alignment between technological roadmaps and factory requirements. Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
Lean Transformation & Optimization: Deploy continuous improvement strategies (Lean Manufacturing) aimed at optimizing cycle times and eliminating waste across the production value stream.
MES Oversight: Supervise the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), ensuring data integrity and leveraging real-time analytics to drive performance improvements and production visibility.
BOM Governance: Take full responsibility for the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of productive Bills of Materials (BOM), ensuring technical precision and seamless integration with production processes.
Kaizen Facilitator: Organize and facilitate Kaizen workshops, serving as a coach and mentor to operational teams to foster a culture of structured problem-solving, active participation, and sustainable change.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Management Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing environments (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is highly desirable).
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross‑functional projects, ideally within a digitalized industrial setting.
Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of MES systems, ERP architecture (specifically SAP), and BOM management processes.
Leadership Skills: Excellent facilitation skills, change management capabilities, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams (AI/Data) and shop-floor operations.
Language: Full professional proficiency in both Italian and English.

The pay range for this position : Between € 50,400.00 and € 75,600.00 gross per annum. The specific pay offered will consider the candidate’s education, qualifications, experience and skill set.
