Overview The Business Intelligence Specialist will support the technical and application delivery of BI projects, conducting analysis and development using data visualization technologies. The role entails working collaboratively with clients to capture business requirements, design data models, develop performance analysis systems, and translate complex analyses into actionable insights. Responsibilities Support the delivery of technical and application solutions for BI projects. Collect and analyze business requirements, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Analyze data sources and develop data modeling services with proven methodology. Build systems for performance analysis, interactive reports, and analytic dashboards using QlikView, QlikSense, Tableau, PowerBI, SAP BO. Generate and present analyses, implementing effective metrics to support business decision making. Extract and synthesize complex analyses performed by other specialists (e.g., Data Scientist, Data Governance). Develop relationships with clients, technology vendors, and partners; communicate analysis results effectively. Coordinate junior analysts within cross‑functional teams. Essential Requirements Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Informatics, Statistics, Business Engineering, or related STEM discipline. Experience with at least one data visualization technology (PowerBI, QlikSense, Tableau, Looker, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BO, IBM Cognos). Experience developing BI solutions, including interactive UI design and complex data model development for KPI construction. Knowledge of at least one big data processing/extraction technology (Hive, Pig, Flume, Sqoop, basic Python). Knowledge of cloud provider services (Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS) and BI‑platform components (BigQuery, DataFlow, Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, Data Factory, Data Bricks). Excellent SQL skills. Fluency in Italian and English. Additional Qualifications Ability to create stored procedures and SQL functions. Advanced Excel (VBA). Experience with SAS, Python, R, Java, C++, JavaScript/HTML, PHP. Certification in at least one BI product (PowerBI, Tableau, QlikSense, Looker, SAP Analytics Cloud, Cognos). Experience building BI solutions on cloud platforms. Knowledge of Spanish. Soft Skills Consulting mindset. Excellent relational and communication skills. Customer‑orientated and goal‑driven.
