At Shakers, we’re looking for an RF / SDR Security Research Engineer to join a specialized Cyber Electromagnetic Research team working on advanced Radio Frequency (RF) and Software Defined Radio (SDR) security research. This is a hands-on R&D role, focused on experimenting with RF protocols, identifying vulnerabilities and building prototypes using SDR technologies. You’ll work closely with senior researchers in a lab-driven environment.ResponsibilitiesR&D activities related to RF and SDR securityAnalysis of RF protocols, vulnerabilities, and attack vectorsDesign and development of RF prototypes using Software Defined RadioImplementation of SDR solutions using GnuRadioSupport research activities related to electromagnetic and wireless securityTechnical documentation and research reportingQualificationsExperience in RF security or SDR-based security researchHands-on experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) and GnuRadioProgramming experience in Python and / or C / C++Familiarity with RF lab instrumentationSolid fundamentals in Network security, Applied cryptography, and Wireless protocolsGood level of EnglishResearch mindset and ability to work in an R&D environmentWhy this projectAdvanced RF & SDR security researchReal lab work with RF equipmentCollaboration with senior researchersInterested?
