Run what runs the world.Role OverviewThis position reports to the R&D Team Lead and contributes to the ABB Electrification Business area, particularly for the Smart Power Division in Bergamo. The role is located in the R&D Laboratory, following the development and management of the validation process on different Low Voltage devices.ResponsibilitiesDefine test sequences and execution methods, prepare test set-ups, and execute tests on devices.Analyze test results and issue related reports according to applicable standards.Propose improvements in existing test techniques and use new test and measurement equipment.Assist and support customers during testing activities.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in the Electrotechnical field or Electrical/Electronic field.Basic knowledge of Electrical engineering.Experience with electrical and mechanical measuring instruments and analysis capacity.Computer skills (programming knowledge and office software package).Passionate, organized, good at teamwork, high desire to learn, and attitude for problem solving.Proficiency in Italian and English.BenefitsCompetitive compensation: attractive salary packages and performance bonuses.Corporate welfare: access to a wide range of services and personal well-being support.Career development: structured career paths, individual development plans, internal mobility opportunities.Employee support: psychological help, wellness coaching, emotional support for employees and families.Parental leave: at least 12 weeks fully paid for primary caregivers and 4 weeks for secondary caregivers.Meal allowance: canteen access to support daily lunch expenses.More About UsABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings.
