OverviewSerco is a leading Space Services Provider supporting space missions for multiple space and government agencies. The role involves validation activities and contributes to the Onboarding Team related to Destination Earth (DestinE) initiatives, covering aspects of Software System Engineering, service design and validation, and integration of new services and partners. You will contribute to Europe’s space programmes, from Earth observation and climate monitoring to satellite navigation and space safety, helping ensure mission success and enabling informed decision-making on Earth. ResponsibilitiesLead and execute validation activities, including preparation of Test Plans and Test Reports to ensure quality and reliability of systems. Manage and coordinate onboarding activities for new external companies and services, ensuring smooth integration into the platform. Act as primary point of contact for external companies during onboarding; address queries and provide necessary support. Facilitate engagement meetings with new partners and stakeholders to foster collaboration. Support integration of new services into the platform, acting as a technical facilitator between external companies and internal development teams. Support corrective and evolutive maintenance activities, assist follow-up of technical teams, troubleshoot, and perform technical analysis. QualificationsA Degree in Information Technology (IT), Engineering, Technical Sciences or equivalent is required. 2/3 years of working experience in relevant aspects. Working experience in software testing, with preparation of Test Plans and Test Reports. Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting. Knowledge of code versioning and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.). Working experience with programming languages (e.g., Python). Experience with containerized applications (e.g., Docker). English Level B2 (Upper-Intermediate), written and spoken. Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices. Knowledge of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes). Experience with System Engineering processes (e.g., ECSS standard). Experience with Cloud infrastructure and pipeline deployment. Ability to write technical documentation (e.g., Procedures, Technical Notes, Interface Control Document, System Design Document). Knowledge of Earth Observation satellite data product formats. Knowledge of Destination Earth (DestinE) programme. Critical thinking and self-organization skills.
