Your work will enable the AI algorithms and data science products that power our platform.As a Senior Data Engineer at Cardo AI you willDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Apache Spark and AirflowOptimize SQL queries running on TrinoLead large scale data lakehouse and analytics projects with high business impactProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers on data engineering best practicesCollaborate closely with Data Science and Product teams to deliver robust data solutionsBuild and maintain automated data workflows and cloud infrastructure on AWS (S3, Glue, EKS)Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability of data systemsRequired SkillsStrong command of relational databases (Postgres) and advanced SQL with query performance tuning experienceExtensive experience building ETL pipelines using Apache Spark and orchestrating workflows with Apache AirflowDeep knowledge of AWS data and compute services: Aurora, Athena, S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, etc.Strong understanding of data engineering design principles, data modeling, and pipeline architectureExperience mentoring and providing technical leadership to other engineersFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform (preferred)Preferred QualificationsExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of data lake architectures and semi-structured data sourcesWhy Cardo AI?Joining Cardo AI is more than just a job, it’s an opportunity to make a real impact.
