Optical Engineer

In this role, you will work onlaser system development ,optical experiments , andlaser-material interactionprocesses, assisting with the setup and optimization of our laser systems in the lab.If you are passionate aboutlaser technologyand have hands-on experience in an optics laboratory environment, this is a great opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced and dynamic team.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and maintainoptical systemsfor laser experiments and micromachining applications.Work with the team tooptimize laser parametersand ensure system performance.Assist in the design andimplementation of laser experiments , ensuring precise control of parameters such as pulse duration, energy, and wavelength.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting oflaser systemsandoptical setups .Support experiments related tolaser-material interactions , focusing on optimizing processes for precision micromachining.Collaborate with senior engineers and scientists torefine laser processing techniques .Laboratory Work & Team CollaborationWork hands-on in thelaboratory environment , ensuring optimal operation of equipment and systems.Providetechnical supportto the team on laser-related projects.Maintain accurate records of experiments and results to document progress and findings.What We’re Looking For Technical SkillsDegree inPhysics, Engineering (Optics, Photonics)or related field.Strong understanding oflaser physics ,optical systems , andlaser-material interaction .Hands-on experience withoptical setupsandlaser laboratory work(1-2 years of experience).Familiarity withlaser systems , optics, and precision equipment used in a laboratory setting.Experience withlaser alignment, optical bench setups , and troubleshooting.Personal & Soft SkillsPassionate aboutlaser technologyandoptical sciences .Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Team player who is eager to contribute and learn in a collaborative environment.Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.Location:Rovereto, Trento, Italy Job Type:Full-time Industry:Laser Technology, Optics, Micromachining, High-TechWhat We OfferA dynamic and innovative environment where you can grow your skills and contribute to cutting-edge research.
