Service Summary : The Chemical & Laboratory Engineer is responsible for all chemical activities managing all laboratory operations ensuring accurate technical analyses and supervising chemical injection rates and stock. This role includes overseeing lab staff driving continuous improvements maintaining equipment ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards and collaborating with other departments to optimize production processes. Key Responsibilities : Ensure compliance with quality management systems regulatory requirements and safety standards. Manage daily laboratory operations reporting ensuring safety efficiency and compliance with company standards Supervise train and mentor laboratory staff ensuring high performance and adherence to safety requirements. Oversee chemical injection rates chemical stock management and ordering to ensure cost optimization and optimal performance. Ensure accurate and timely technical analysis and reporting of results identifying trends and areas for improvement. Implement process improvements optimize lab procedures and stay updated with new products and technologies. Help to maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with Production Field Engineers and HSE to provide safety documentations and recommendations data-driven insights and support operational strategies. Qualifications / Requirements : Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering or related field. 5 years of experience in chemical engineering and / or laboratory supervision within the oil & gas sector. Strong understanding of laboratory techniques chemical injection systems and equipment management.
