OverviewJob Title:Customer Care officer (temporary position) for the Italian market, based in Milan. Company:ESL Languages, part of Kaplan Languages Group (KLG). We are a leading European study abroad agency with offices across Europe. Location:Milan, Italy. Start date: ASAP. Contract: 9 months, full-time. ResponsibilitiesProcess enrolments using the internal CRM system. Manage customers’ files. Assist customers before, during, and after their stay. Invoicing bookings and ensuring receipt of payments from customers. Collect invoices from partner schools and validate payments. Handle special requests and complaints. Provide personalized advice to each customer, including detailed information on every step of the language course, meeting deadlines. Keep informed of local and international news to be aware of events in major tourist zones. Know the products and services offered by ESL perfectly. Be flexible depending on the period, deadlines, workload, and support in other Customer Care markets and ESL departments. Be available for the department, the Customer Care Manager(s) and other employees. Assist the manager in training and the department in reaching its objectives. Assist with special projects or various administrative tasks as assigned. Organize and plan your own work. Communicate effectively with the Customer Care department, Sales offices, Partner schools (in English), and clients in their mother tongue (and second language if knowledge is good enough). Handle customers’ end-of-stay feedback and reviews and gather testimonials. Be able to redirect, up-sell, and cross-sell to avoid changes and cancellations. QualificationsYour Professional Skills Professional experience in customer care, call center, or an administrative position. Experience in language studies abroad is an asset. Ability to work autonomously and in an organized manner with a high sense of responsibility and accuracy. Italian speaker (C1/C2) and very good command of English (minimum level B2). Additional languages (German, Spanish, and/or French) are valued. Good knowledge of geography. Your Personal Skills Strong communication skills. Committed team player, flexible with good listening abilities. Experience and a taste for traveling. Live in Milan or close by.
