Our dynamic and fast-paced environment offers exciting opportunities for growth and development.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our People team in Milan. The ideal candidate will support various People functions, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about People topics, enjoys administrative tasks, is very precise, loves payroll tasks, and is eager to contribute to a growing company.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily workflows of the payroll department supporting 550+ employees for the 3 Italian companies.Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.Manager of 1 direct report and point of contact for the Italian market.Audit and process monthly payroll transactions and closely collaborate with the external payroll consultant, accounting and tax department.Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.Ensure compliance with country and local payroll wages and taxes by implementing best practices.Identify and recommend updates to payroll processes and procedures.Ensure accounting has the files to timely record and reconcile payroll-related accounts for month-end close.Collaborate with treasury and accounts payable team to ensure payroll and payroll-related expenses are funded.Maintain and improve payroll processes and policies.QualificationsExtensive experience related to Italian payroll management & people management experience.Workday experience.Familiarity around SLAs & KPIs.Can effectively own and manage the payroll process, identify and implement process improvements where needed.Thrives in fast-paced and growing environments with strong time management skills.Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other managers and employees.Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface with personnel at all levels both verbally and in writing.Payroll accounting experience.What We OfferPermanent contractDynamic environmentGreat opportunities to grow together with the CompanySpecific Trainings#J-18808-Ljbffr
