Job Summary Tetra Pak is looking for a new Process Engineer to join the team in Monza, Italy. As a member of the Processing Engineering team you will take part in full-cycle development projects for the food industry starting from initial concept and requirements gathering through to final commissioning and handover to the customer. The role involves close collaboration with a variety of departments including Automation, Supplier Management and Finance, which will give exposure to different areas of the business and the chance to build strong cross-functional relationships. This is a permanent position based in Monza. Estimated travelling will be up to 40% of your time in Italy and the EU. What you will do Design food processing solutions for dairy, cheese and other food production plants. Selection and sizing of components and materials in line with the right food safety level required by the type of product to produce (milk, juice, tomato, vegetable drinks, etc.). Design process solution from the initiation phase until final delivery. Work in a project team together with other members to cover all parts involved in the final solution: electrical, mechanical, automation and functional engineering. Site supervision and commissioning support on site with our customers to ensure the correct delivery of our projects. Work closely with our suppliers and other internal stakeholders (Quality, Supply Management, Technical Service, etc.). Work in a pre-project team with the aim of developing solutions for our customers including sales support and budgeting. We believe you have University or Polytechnic degree in Product Technology / Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering. 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of process engineering. Food industry experience preferred. Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Oil & Gas sectors will be considered an advantage. Good MS Office skills. Reliability, flexibility and problem-solving competencies. Creativity, action- and result-oriented mindset. Open communication and organizational skills. Self-motivated and ability to work independently. Analytical mindset and proactive approach. High level of communication and cooperation skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across departments including Project Engineering, Supply Management, Product Management, After Sales and external suppliers. Fluency in Italian and English is required. Availability to travel up to 40% of the working time in Italy and the EU.
