Accounting Specialist – General Ledger (m/f/d) Your mission You support the efficient and high-quality execution of general ledger accounting as part of an international accounting team. You independently handle all general ledger postings for several international entities. You are responsible for posting accruals, provisions, intercompany transactions, and other general ledger entries in compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines. You serve as a point of contact for internal departments and external partners regarding inquiries related to postings, reconciliations, and balance sheet items. You analyze balance sheet and P&L accounts, identify discrepancies, and support the implementation of appropriate measures to ensure financial data quality. You assist in the continuous improvement of processes, policies, and internal controls within the general ledger function. You actively contribute to the optimization and automation of our GL processes, as well as the implementation and further development of ERP systems and reporting tools. You support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS – especially in report creation,
