BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

The product manager is the main technical focal point between the Nutrition, School Meals and Social Protection Service (PRGS) and WFP’s Technology Division and oversees day-to-day operations and product development of school meals digital products. He/she will report directly to the Programme and Policy Officer, Food Systems and Nutrition and collaborate closely with the digital solutions and innovation consultants dedicated to rollout of School Connect and School Meal Planner PLUS. The goal of School Connect is to track attendance, consumption and stock movements at school level in all WFP operated School Feeding programmes worldwide and to provide support to government monitoring systems and frameworks.
