Senior QA Engineer – Lead Quality & Automation at MotorK At MotorK, we’re redefining how the world’s leading car manufacturers connect with their customers. As we enter our next phase—transforming into an AI-native company—we’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead the next generation of quality and automation across our platform. The Role As a Senior QA Engineer, you will own the QA strategy and lead the implementation of modern testing frameworks that ensure reliability and speed at scale. You’ll design and manage automated test solutions using Playwright or Cypress, mentor QA engineers, and collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure every release meets the highest standards. This is a key leadership role for someone passionate about automation, process improvement, and exploring how AI can elevate quality assurance. What You’ll Do: Lead QA strategy: Define, implement, and continuously improve QA processes across multiple teams and projects. Drive automation: Build, maintain, and scale automated test suites using Playwright, Cypress, or other Node.js-based frameworks . Ensure quality at speed: Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for seamless, reliable releases. Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality is built in from day one. Mentor and guide: Support and develop junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Champion innovation: Explore and introduce AI-driven testing tools and methodologies to enhance QA efficiency. Safeguard data integrity: Conduct API and data validation testing , including SQL-based checks and migrations. What You’ll Bring: Must-Have Skills Expertise in test automation using Node.js-based frameworks (Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cypress) Programming in JavaScript or TypeScript Experience with API testing (REST principles, Postman, Swagger) Database querying and validation Experience with Agile methodologies Proficiency with Jira Nice-to-Have Knowledge of load testing tools such as k6 AI-driven testing tools experience (Cursor, Claude Code, beyond ChatGPT/Copilot) Strong background in mentoring junior and mid-senior QA engineers Passion for process improvement and innovation in QA Why MotorK: Join a company that’s shaping the future of digital experiences for the automotive industry.
