With a client‑first focus, conscientious development and operational practices, we empower innovative companies to tackle their demand curve.General Purpose of the PositionThe Project Manager (PM) for Data Center Design and Construction Projects will oversee the full lifecycle of data center development, from initial design and permitting through to construction, commissioning, and handover to operations. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including coordinating the design, construction, procurement, subcontractors, vendors, and client interfaces. The PM will ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements, while meeting the highest standards of quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end data center construction projects, from initial design and permitting through to construction, commissioning, and handover to operationsDevelop and manage project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resourcesCoordinate design teams, engineers, contractors, vendors, and local authoritiesEnsure that the design integrates critical systems such as electrical, mechanical, IT infrastructure, cooling, and fire suppressionEnsure all necessary permits and regulatory approvals are obtained in compliance with local, regional, and national lawsOversee the construction process and conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safetyManage contractors and subcontractors performance and coordinationMonitor and control project costs, forecasting, and financial reportingIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks and delaysOversee the testing, commissioning, and handover processesEnsure smooth handover to operations, including documentation and manualsProvide clear project reporting to clients and senior managementRequired skills and backgroundDegree in Engineering or ArchitectureAt least 7‑10 years of experience as Project Manager / Construction Project ManagerPreferred background in Data Centers or Oil & Gas projectsExperience in Budgeting, cost control, and schedulingProject Planning & Execution: Strong capability in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.Contractor and stakeholder managementKnowledge of Italian building codes and HSE regulationsFluent English and ItalianThis role offers a hybrid working model, with 3 days on‑site and 2 days remote work per week.#J-18808-Ljbffr
